Setting Up Your Goals

Setting Up Your Goals

Goals Settings

I love New Year.

People make wishes, set up goals and look forward to a new year.

I don’t know if you set up goals and if you follow them up.

I have to be honest – I set up goals and didn’t follow them through.

So maybe this year would be the year I would it properly :)

I decided to set only several goals and follow Raymond Aaron’s technique of setting up goals – MTO technique.

We feel bad when we don’t achieve our goals as usually we set up our goals in a way that we either achieve them or not. If we don’t achieve them we are upset.

MTO technique makes you feel good all the time.

M stands for minimum. Minimum that your goals is for. Something that is very achievable, something that you may have done before. For example, exercise once a week for at least 15 minutes.

T stands for Target. What is your target is. Something that is very possible. For example, exercise twice a week for at least 30 minutes.

O stands for outrageous. Something that seems pretty much impossible even for anyone. For example, exercise 3 times a week plus go for a run twice a week.

By doing this we are pretty much set to achieve the most. As we are most likely be able to achieve our M goal and we feel good, then (feeling so good and happy with ourselves) we can achieve T goal. And who knows maybe we will achieve (and most likely you will ) your O goal.

One of the goals I set up for this year is to finally start Pilates online membership site that I have been thinking of doing for quite a while now.

I know I have said this before and I am sure you had something you promised yourself you would do but it didn’t happen.

I am subscribed to Famous Quotes and Quotations and receive every day an inspiring quote.

The one below seems very appropriate to mention in this article:

“If you had started doing anything two weeks ago, by today you would have been two weeks better at it.”- John Mayer

I wish you all a very very Happy New Year and achieving your goals!
